ARTISTS STATEMENT
I think, like a lot of women I've had to slowly break free from the common ideal of our bodies. I do a lot of yoga which had helped me become more mindful and grateful for the body I have. I think most women do go through a journey at some stage to achieve self-body love and I am proud of where I am in mine. I suppose I like the shots with the collar because it symbolizes the restraints we allow ourselves to be held back by. Restraints we have the power to remove at any time but sometimes don't.
